COVID Response

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns deeply affected Aurangabad, causing economic hardship and uncertainty. Daily wage earners, factory workers, and countless others found themselves without income and facing a challenging future. Recognizing the urgent need, Lipok took action.

Food Security: We provided essential ration kits to 790 families, ensuring access to basic necessities during the crisis. These kits were made possible through the generosity of individuals who donated funds and groceries, demonstrating the power of community support.

Safe Return for Migrant Workers: In partnership with local organizations, Lipok helped over 1,000 migrant workers return home safely and with dignity. This initiative offered a lifeline to those stranded far from their families, bringing them comfort and stability.

Oxygen Support: Understanding the critical need for oxygen, particularly in rural hospitals, Lipok actively distributed oxygen concentrators. This effort ensured that those fighting COVID-19 had a chance to recover with the medical care they needed.

Home Quarantine Kits:  Lipok also distributed home quarantine kits to those in isolation. These kits contained essential vitamins and supplies to ease the physical and emotional challenges of quarantine, providing much-needed comfort and support.

The pandemic tested our resilience, but it also highlighted the strength of our community. Lipok remains committed to supporting individuals and families in Aurangabad, empowering them to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
